Love by The Beatles

The Beatles' production company, Apple Corps, has been producing a show at The Mirage in Vegas with Cirque du Soleil called "Love." The music for that show, and this album, was created by The Beatles' original producer, Sir George Martin, and his son Giles. They've made experimental mixes from the master tapes from the original multi-track recordings and produced a "soundscape" which links The Beatles' songs together connected by samples from the original recordings. Love is a continuous play of classic Beatles' hits connected and redone with various versions of the songs recorded over the years. This soundscape has been a huge part of the Cirque du Soleil's show success and is now available for everyone to enjoy. The amazon.com reviewer says, "The result is an amazing album that not only reinforces the timeless quality of the group's recordings--the fans will have fun enjoying the roller-coaster experience of the album whilst trying to spot where all the pieces come from--it is also destined to open up a new legion of fans to the Beatles experience."

Love also comes in a CD/DVD set. The DVD is audio only and will contain 81 minutes of music in both 5.1 surround sound and stereo (presented in DVD-Audio MLP, DTS, Dolby and PCM).
