Same Old Man by John Hiatt

Same Old Man is an appropriate title for John Hiatt's 18th album, he's the same old man. Fortunately, that's good news for John Hiatt fans. He begins that album with "Old Days," reflecting on his years on the road and continues in the same vein with the rest of the songs, looking back at the past that's made him what he is today. It's also made him a confident and talented singer/songwriter. Pop Matters says, "Hiatt's Same Old Man says it all in the title-he's the same songwriter he's been for years, and his formula is tried and true. The only thing is, his formula becomes closer to perfect with each and every test.

CD released May 27, 2008.
