Little Honey find Lucinda Williams in a better mood than usual. Not that her previous albums were depressing, but everyone could identify with the emotions she so eloquently describes. Now she sings about a happier time (with a few melancholy songs too), and getting some vocal help from Elvis Costello, Matthew Sweet, Susanna Hoffs, Jim Lauderdale, Tim Easton and Charlie Louvin. I love her voice, I love her emotions, and I love her music. Her legions of fans must feel the same.
