I Know You're Married But I've Got Feelings Too by Martha Wainwright

Martha Wainwright follows her eponymous debut with her second album, I Know You're Married But I've Got Feelings Too. She's the daughter of Kate McGarrigle and Loudon Wainwright III and sister of Rufus Wainwright and it's obvious that her musical heritage has not been wasted on her. I Know You're Married But I've Got Feelings Too showcases her powerful and unique face over a variety of songs that are never repetitive. Her songs are laden with emotion which her voices capitalizes on beautifully. Pop Matters says, "Married improves even on Wainwright's excellent 2005 debut. It's a more subtle, diverse, self-assured affair. She is such a formidable force on this record that guest spots from musty rock gods Pete Townshend, Donald Fagen, and Garth Hudson are barely noticeable, or worth noticing. In both mind and voice, Wainwright is a singular beacon of brilliance, one who outshines all but the greatest singer-songwriters of her generation.

CD released June 10, 2008.
