With
Call Me Irresponsible, Canadian crooner Michael Buble again returns to what he does best, reinvent the old standards with a nod to those who made them famous in the first place. He has his usual nods to Frank Sinatra, including the title track, but also steps into the pop world with his renditions of "Me And Mrs. Jones" or Eric Clapton's "Wonderful Tonight." There are also two tracks on this album which he co-wrote, "Lost" and "Everything." It's a mixture of playing it safe with songs and music where he's made his name combined with some stepping out into new musical styles from time to time. All Music Guide calls it "a truly welcome pop album by any standard."
CD released May 1, 2007.
