With Multi-Dimensional Warrior, Carlos Santana has created a homage to his early career that began almost 40 years ago. The first CD contains songs with vocals, the second CD contains only instrumentals. These are classic Santana songs from a bygone era, but they still remain timeless. Pop Matters says, "Multi-Dimensional Warrior is an impressive exploration, from a very personal perspective, of the vast body of work that Carlos Santana has produced over nearly forty years. As such, this collection lives up to the image invoked in its title."
