Closer: The Best of Sarah McLachlan is, as the title points out, a compendium of Sarah's McLachlan's greatest hits, going all the way back to her first albums. It also includes two new tracks, "Don't Give Up On Us" and "U Want Me 2 Don't U?," which are classic Sarah McLachlan tunes guided by her long-time producer Pierre Marchand.

Closer is also available in a 2-CD set has more of her greatest hits, including some remixes, as well as an expanded booklet and original art-print from Sarah McLachlan.

CD released October 7, 2008.
